How consent is collected for text messages
Program: BADABOOM (badaboom.io), operated by Continuum App, LLC / Bsquared (bsquared.ai). A BADABOOM account holder records a short personal video — a “Boom” — and sends it to one person by text.
Who is texted, and why
Only a person the sender names, one message per Boom, at the sender’s direction. BADABOOM does not collect phone numbers through web forms, does not use purchased, rented or scraped lists, sends no marketing or promotional messages to recipients, and runs no affiliate or lead-generation program.
How consent is obtained
At the moment of sending, the sender enters the recipient’s mobile number and must tick a box before the Send button will work. The box reads:
I have this person’s permission to text them. They’ll get one message with my Boom; message and data rates may apply, and they can reply STOP to opt out.
The send is refused if the box is unticked — this is enforced on the server, not only in the interface — and the affirmation is recorded against that individual message with a timestamp, so consent is demonstrable per message rather than asserted in general terms.
What the recipient receives

Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to stop receiving these messages; reply START to resume; reply HELP for help. Message frequency varies — typically one message per Boom sent. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared, sold, or bought by third parties or affiliates, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
